The entire process, from your purchase to meat pickup, typically takes 60-120 days.

1. Purchase Your Cow: Your purchase is confirmed once we have received your deposit. Once you've purchased your cow, we will arrange for it to be transported to a local processor. 

2. Processing and Pickup: We will contact you directly to confirm when your meat is ready for pickup. You are responsible for picking up the meat from the processor when it is ready.​​​

The balance due is determined when the cows hanging weight is finalized.

• Part 1: Balance Due to Mount Airy Farms

  • The remaining balance for the meat and transportation is due to us after the cow is delivered to the processor. We'll send you an invoice at that time to be paid by credit card.

• Part 2: Processing Fee Due to the Processor

  • This fee is paid directly to the processor when you pick up your meat.
