About Mount Airy Farm

Sustainable Cattle Farming

At Mount Airy Farm in Upperville, Virginia, we're dedicated to raising cattle the right way. Our commitment begins with ensuring our cattle are 100% free of hormones and antibiotics. Our cows are bred, born, and raised right here on our expansive 1,000-acre farm. They roam freely on bluegrass and clover pastures, embodying what it means to be truly free-range.

We believe that healthy animals make for healthier people. That’s why our cattle are certified USDA organic, and why we prioritize ecologically sound, sustainable farming practices. From protecting natural resources by fencing off water sources to harvesting our own hay for consistent, high-quality nutrition year-round, every step we take is rooted in care - for our animals, and our land.

Grass-Fed & Grass Finished Nutrition

Our free-range, grass-fed, organic cattle thrive on our quality grass and the hay we harvest ourselves directly from our land.

100%

Free Range

Our cattle are raised on over 1,000 acres of pastures and are free-range, ensuring quality from pasture to plate.

Our environmentally conscious farming practices allow our cattle to thrive in a natural, healthy environment. We are committed to free-range grazing and organic methods that help protect our land, preserve the integrity of our grasses, and ensure our cattle remain free from the toxic chemical buildup and waste management issues often associated with large-scale commercial operations.

Our Mission

We believe naturally maintaining the land and raising healthy animals is the key to a healthier future for everyone. It's about more than just beef; it's about a commitment to stewardship for generations to come and the connection between vibrant land, thriving animals, and healthier people.
